Teamwork & Team Building

For most of us, teamwork is a part of everyday life. Whether it’s at home, in the community, or at work, we are often expected to be a functional part of a performing team. Having a strong team will benefit any organization and will lead to more successes than not.

What is a Team?

The Merriam Webster Dictionary defines a team as a number of persons associated together in work or activity.   Teams are formed for many purposes:  project teams, ad-hoc teams, quality improvement teams, and task forces.

Teams can be temporary, or indefinite. When individuals share responsibility, the group as a whole can take advantage of the collective talent, knowledge, and experience of each team member to maximize their potential.

Teamwork

Team building is an organized effort to improve team effectiveness.

The Teamwork And Team Building course will encourage you to explore the different aspects of a team, as well as ways that you can become a top-notch team performer. You will be given the details and concepts of what makes up a team, and what factors into being a successful team and team member.
